Paul Carter is Vice President and co-owner of RSW of Iowa, a company he co-founded in 2017 with a vision to elevate the standard of service in the construction materials industry. With over 31 years of experience in construction material sales, vendor relations, and distribution strategy, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry. His professional journey began with an associate degree in Construction Technology from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It was there that Paul developed a solid foundation in the principles of building science and project planning. Upon graduation, he joined a major national distributor, where he quickly distinguished himself through his expertise in both residential and commercial sales. Over the years, Paul earned multiple sales accolades and recognitions, a testament to his ability to build strong client relationships and deliver value-driven solutions. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to create a more customer-centric approach to distribution, Paul partnered with co-owner Ron Coe to establish RSW of Iowa. Headquartered in Des Moines, the company was built on a philosophy of providing industry-leading service, delivering high-quality materials, and always prioritizing the needs of the customer. Under Paul’s leadership, RSW has become known not only for its product expertise and reliability but also for its integrity, responsiveness, and innovation.
