Dave O’Donnell brings over 39 years of expertise in the building materials industry, with a deep background in sales, distribution, and cooperative management.

His career began in pharmaceutical sales before transitioning to international transportation sales with US Lines in New York City, where he managed transportation services from the Middle East and Far East to the U.S. After a successful tenure, Dave discovered his true passion in the building materials industry.

He honed his skills in sales and sales management at GAF Materials Corporation and later served as General Manager of ABCO Wholesale Distributors in metropolitan Detroit. For the past 23 years, Dave has dedicated himself to the cooperative sector, working closely with independent distributors of exterior building products. His extensive experience across manufacturing, distribution, and cooperatives provides him with a unique market perspective and strategic insight.

As President & CEO of NEMEON, Dave leads a purchasing and services cooperative comprising over 111 independent roofing and siding distributors operating 335 locations across the U.S. and Canada. NEMEON empowers its member-owners with support in purchasing, management, marketing, information systems, strategic planning, and value-added services, strengthening their competitive edge in the marketplace.
