One way or another, Steve has always been in the construction profession. From a young age, he enjoyed going to work with his Dad, learning about products while progressing his driving skills with a forklift in the yard and warehouse. Later, he knew the delivery side of the business while in high school and began selling for the company while attending college. Upon graduating from Cal State Long Beach in 1978 with a fine arts degree in design, Steve started a successful 25-year career with various design firms in the Los Angeles area, including Gensler/Associates Architects, an International architectural design company. A yearning to work alongside his parents in the family business returned him to their side in 1991. He quickly moved up the ranks to General Manager, then achieved full ownership in 2012 while his parents contemplated retirement. Steve has always enjoyed promoting professionalism in his endeavors. He has supported the National Roofing Contractors Association and has been involved in NEMEON’s NextGen committee for many years. His future will always include his love of improving the lives of LA Roofing Materials' employees and customers.
