Great Northern Manufacturing |
Great Northern Manufacturing got its start in 1944, located in Revere Massachusetts. Demand for Great Northern's aluminum and stainless steel nails increased dramatically over the years. By 1978 this increase in volume necessitated a move to a larger facility in Chelsea Massachusetts. With the expansion of the product line to include zip screw, blind rivets, gutter brackets and copper nails and spikes Great Northern moved again in 1997. In 2001, the new owner Carroll Mackin moved the company to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. |
